Patient Support General Questions Can I talk to a provider by phone? No, QDoc is a video-based platform. To speak with a provider, you will need to have access to a device that has a camera, microphone and internet. We do not provide appointments by phone. Provider Support Patient Communication What do I do if the encounter was started under the wrong name? If an encounter is started under the wrong name, do not update the patient name through Edit Patient Info, as this can impact billing, past encounters, prescriptions, requisitions, etc. Make the notes for the encounter, save them as “Complete – Do Not Bill,” and promptly contact the administrative office via 3CX with both the incorrect and correct patient information. The office will get the note moved to the correct profile, and have it unlocked for you to complete by sending whatever final documents need to be sent. If the office is closed, send the message anyway; it will be addressed on the next business day. Similar Resources
Provider Support Appointment Scheduling How do I arrange to use space at the partner clinics in Winnipeg? If you are not associated with a clinic and a patient needs to be seen in person, you can offer to see them at The Minor Illness and Injury Clinic (TMIIC) or Pan Am within 2 weeks of your virtual encounter. If the patient chooses this option, you will have to complete the following steps in order to schedule this in-person appointment: Contact the QDoc administrative office to notify them that you need to use clinical space at TMIIC or Pan Am. Silver will contact the clinic and notify them of your need. You will be contacted to discuss availability options for using their space. You will contact the patient with these options and confirm a date/time for your visit. You will contact the clinic and confirm the date/time when you will be using their space. Similar Resources
