How do I get paid when the patient has private insurance?

QDoc will direct bill MSH private insurance. Once these funds have been received from the insurance company, the fee will be paid to the doctor (85% of the submitted fee) or to the nurse practitioner, depending on the current payment agreement. 

Whenever a patient uses their credit card to pay for a visit, they are charged as soon as the visit is finalized and submitted. If they have private insurance (not including MSH), the patient can then file for reimbursement. Physicians are paid 85% of the fee (less the credit card processing fee). Nurse practitioners are paid through a separate process, and details can be obtained by sending an inquiry to providers@qdoc.ca
