Create Account

Register your QDoc account with a valid email and password. Once you have registered an account, you may create a patient profile for yourself or your family members.

Join The Queue

Once you click “start visit” you will be added to our queue. When a doctor is getting ready you will receive a text on your cell phone. You will then be connected to a local doctor!

Treatment

Begin your treatment plan with our doctor and afterwards access your encounter summaries, referrals, lab requisitions and other documents, all through your profile.

I seriously can't say enough good things about Qdoc. If you haven't signed up, do so! I will never sit and wait in a dirty walk in clinic ever again. Yes the wait time can sometimes be long but it's literally on your phone from home, just keep your browser open while you're doing other things and you'll receive a text message when the doc is ready to see you. Every doc I've spoken with for whatever reason has always been super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. All from the comfort of my own home. Very very impressed with qdoc, definitely consider it as an option next time you or your littles are sick and need to see a doctor. Just create a file (you will need your manitoba health #) and it will be on record each time you use the site.

In searching for a walk-in clinic to take my son to in the morning, QDoc popped up as an option. After a very brief registration process and then quickly describing the issue we were connected to a paediatrician within minutes. He was thorough and efficient and we had a prescription sent to a local pharmacy in less than 15 minutes. He took care of my issue on the spot and it was all wrapped up in less than 10 minutes. The sound and video quality was great, and the doctor was very pleasant and helpful. Did not feel the rush, got the prescribed medication sent to the pharmacy. The doctor was on time, and he wanted to see how my daughter was breathing. I highly recommend this website.

We are still in awe. One evening, we were in need of non-emergency care for our Mom and QDoc came to the rescue. We waited approximately 15 minutes and we were connected virtually with a doctor. He gave us his time and patience and was so caring. After the appointment, the pharmacy received the prescription from the doctor within ten minutes and she was able to get a dose in that night. 45 minutes after the virtual appointment, the doctor called and followed up to see if we were able to fill the prescription. We are so thankful for this service and feel comfort in knowing we have QDoc when we need them!

As a medical professional I’m genuinely surprised that I’ve only heard of this today but it should be on the front of people’s minds who are considering care for any ailment. This local coalition of doctors will see you virtually and can prescribe and refer as necessary after a very user friendly sign up process. My start to finish time was 3 hours and I have a script faxed to my pharmacy. *chef’s kiss*

First time to hear QDoc and I really wish they will continue this forever 🙂 This is very convenient and helpful for people who have health concerns that needs to be addressed in a short time. I called on a Saturday at around 8pm and only waited for almost 3 hours. Totally a lifesaver. The Doctor who answered my health concern and he was very respectful and patient especially when there was a technical issue on my phone at the start of our conversation. Kudos to QDoc team for this platform 🙂

Great service! 🙂 when you are sick the last thing you want to do is sit in walk in office and get anyone else sick, plus you don't want to catch anything else! Qdoc is quick, even during heavy volume times you will be put on wait list and dr texts you when they are available. Today I waited 20 min from call in and wait list to see Dr. Best thing, I was diagnosed, told what to watch for if I get worse and I didn't have to go out and did not spread more germs around! QDoc is a great service to take strain off the health system and have patients get the right care at the right places! Thank you!

QDoc has a range of local physicians waiting to pick up your call. Registration is easy: set up an account, add your provincial health information, demographics and you are ready to see a physician.
The backbone of QDoc comprises various highly skilled physicians, each trained in different specialties. These local Manitoban doctors provide personalized and comprehensive medical plans for every patient and are passionately committed to the well-being of everyone they assist.

How do I set up a QDoc Account?

1. Go to www.qdoc.ca and register for an account with a valid email address.
2. Verify your account through a confirmation code sent to your email.
3. Create a ‘Patient Profile’ for yourself, or the patient who needs care.
4. Join the queue by clicking “Start Visit” on your patient card.
5. Carry on with your day and wait for a text message indicating to go back onto QDoc.
6. Start your visit with a QDoctor

How long am I going to be waiting?

We are working hard each day to ensure our service is efficient and convenient. Our wait times depend on many factors; the day/time, how many patients are in the queue, how many doctors are available, and the reason given for the visit.

Please note: You do not have to stay on your browser, and you will receive a text message when the doctor is getting ready to see you. You are welcome to go about your day until your appointment. Our doctors are also available at all times, including evenings and weekends.

Can I get a prescription?

Our doctors are meant to help any non-emergent medical situation. They can refill and prescribe medications, write sick notes, create lab and diagnostic imaging requisitions, send referrals, and book an in-person appointment at one of our partners clinics.
Prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy of your choice, and lab requisitions can be printed off and taken to a location that is convenient for you.

Can I get a sick note?

Yes – if you request a sick note during your visit with a QDoctor, the doctor can complete and sign a note that you can then access by clicking the “View Documents” button on your patient card. For more information on how to access your sick note, view our support center.
A fee of $30.00 may be applicable for the issuance of sick notes.
