What Are Specialty Clinics?

QDoc’s Specialized Clinics are dedicated care pathways built around specific health concerns, such as ADHD, mental health, dermatology, and other areas of specialized care. Patients are connected with providers through a streamlined care experience designed specifically for their needs, all online from the comfort of home.

Each clinic is supported by a team of licensed providers with relevant expertise, ensuring patients receive consistent, informed, and efficient care.

How Speciality Clinics Work

Step 1

Start Your
Visit on QDoc

Initiate a visit through QDoc and select the option that best matches your concern. You may need to complete a set of targeted pre-encounter questions to help guide your care.

Step 2

Initial Provider
Assessment

During your initial assessment, your provider will evaluate your health concerns, review your submitted information, and discuss your symptoms and goals. if appropriate, you will be referred to a specialty clinic.

Step 3

Specialist Review & Acceptance

A provider within the specialty clinic reviews your consult and determines if your case is appropriate for that clinic. This ensures you're matched with the right level of care.

Step 4

Complete Clinic
Forms

If your consult is accepted, you may be asked to complete clinic-specific questionnaires, consent forms, or provide additional information to help prepare for your appointment. These forms will be available in the Inbox section of your QDoc app.

Step 5

Book Your
Appointment

Once your information and forms have been reviewed and approved by the provider, you'll receive available times and can book your appointment with the specialty clinic.

Step 6

Join Specialty Clinic Appointment

On the day your appointment is booked, log onto QDoc and locate the appointment section. In the upcoming appointments, click "check-in".

Step 7

Connect with
the Provider

Once you've checked in, you'll wait in the virtual waiting room until the provider is ready. You'll receive a text notification when the provider is ready to begin your appointment.

Step 8

Additional Follow-Ups

Follow-ups can be booked during the consult meeting when necessary, for ongoing support, personalized treatment plans, and prescription management.
