Introducing CutDoc – Laceration Care

CutDoc: Fast, Coordinated Laceration Care Through QDoc

Minor cuts and skin tears happen — And while most small injuries can heal on their own, some require professional attention to prevent infection and ensure proper healing. That’s why QDoc is proud to offer CutDoc Laceration Care, a streamlined way to get connected to in-person treatment quickly and safely in Winnipeg.

How CutDoc Laceration Care Works

Getting care for your cut or skin tear has never been easier. Here’s the step-by-step process:

  1. Select “Laceration” as your reason for visit

    • When booking through QDoc, simply choose Laceration as your visit reason.

  2. QDoc connects you to an on-call CutDoc physician

    • Our team reviews your entry and routes it to the right doctor for assessment.

  3. Receive same-day or next-day in-person care

    • If treatment is required, you’ll be referred to a CutDoc physician for in-person care in Winnipeg.

This process ensures patients are triaged quickly and receive timely attention for cuts or skin tears that need professional care.

Why Use CutDoc?

  • Convenient: Start your visit from home, avoiding unnecessary waiting room time.

  • Fast: Same-day or next-day referrals mean you get treatment when you need it.

  • Coordinated: QDoc connects you directly with a CutDoc physician who can arrange in-person care.

  • Reliable: Our workflow ensures patients receive professional guidance from qualified doctors.

Important Notes

QDoc is not for emergency situations. If your injury is severe, bleeding heavily, or life-threatening, please visit your nearest emergency department or call 911 immediately.

Not every laceration will require in-person care. Our CutDoc physicians will determine the best course of action for each patient to ensure safe and effective treatment.
