QDoc has been an absolute gamechanger to work when and where I want to supplement my income from in-person clinic work. I can work from home outside of my dermatology practice to improve access to patients with skin issues throughout Manitoba and work at my own pace reducing any stress. If I have a no-show in the clinic, I can pop on to QDoc to see a patient to ensure I have no income loss.

I have just joined QDoc, and after some very appropriate training from the admin staff, I've really enjoyed the process! Common Questions

What will my schedule look like?

You have full control over your time on QDoc. There are no shifts, schedules, or minimum hours — you simply log on whenever you’re available and see patients at your own pace. Whether you want to help a few patients or a full queue, the choice is always yours.

How often will I get paid?

You’ll be paid twice a month — on the 15th (or the nearest business day) and on the last business day of the month. Payments are processed and sent out on those scheduled pay dates.

How does the billing work?

During onboarding, we show you exactly how to choose the correct tariffs and review the most commonly used ones. Our billing team handles the rest: they verify, submit, and correct any rejected claims for you. You can focus on patient care while we take care of the paperwork.

What do I do if someone needs to be seen in person, but they’re on the other side of the province?

QDoc has partner clinics across northern Manitoba and in Winnipeg where patients can be seen in person when needed. If a patient is outside those areas, you can connect with other QDoc providers across the province for guidance on the closest appropriate in-person option. Our network makes it easy to help patients get the care they need, wherever they are.

How many patients a month am I required to see?

QDoc gives you complete flexibility. There are no minimums, quotas, or set schedules — you log on and see patients whenever it works for you.

Am I responsible for follow-ups after ordering labs or imaging?

Yes — you’ll be notified when results are ready. You can add a brief comment for the patient, and if results are abnormal, you’ll follow up directly. Unreviewed results are escalated to ensure timely care.
